Accessibility Statement

Swartwerk Media Design wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

Our standard

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone and shows a visible focus indicator.
  • Each page has a skip link, one main heading, and a logical heading order.
  • Text meets AA color contrast in both light and dark display modes.
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and explained in text.
  • Pages reflow on small screens and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
  • We use no auto-playing media or animation, and we respect reduced-motion settings.

How we test

We test with keyboard-only navigation, VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers, browser zoom, and automated checks with axe and WAVE.

Known limitations

Some client project screenshots show third-party websites we built or worked on. Those sites are owned and maintained by our clients.
